  • Our hands and feet are remarkable parts of the body - constantly working, often overlooked. They help us “handle what life brings” and “stand our ground,” yet they’re frequently ignored until something goes wrong. Reflexology brings loving attention back to these areas, using their intricate map of the body to support balance, relaxation and wellbeing.

Forms of pressure work on the hands and feet have appeared throughout history in cultures across the world, from Traditional Chinese Medicine and ancient Egyptian practices to Western Zone Theory. Modern reflexology draws on this rich lineage to offer a deeply calming, non-invasive therapy that supports the whole system.

With over 7,000 nerve endings in each foot, the body responds sensitively to the specific movements and techniques used in a session. By applying gentle pressure to these reflex points, we stimulate the autonomic nervous system and encourage healthy circulation, helping the organs and systems of the body to function more effectively. Many people experience a sense of lightness, warmth and deep rest as the body begins to unwind.

  • The Women’s Wellness Massage is a deeply restorative treatment designed to bring your whole being back into a state of safety, grounding and calm. Blending the core techniques of Fertility Massage Therapy with my additional training in reflexology, this session offers a uniquely nurturing experience for anyone seeking to unwind, release and reset.

This gentle, body-led treatment uses three rebozos (long woven scarves) placed at the head, pelvis, and feet. Through soothing rocking and wrapping techniques, the body is invited to soften, settle and feel held. Many clients describe this part of the session as profoundly comforting - like being swaddled back into yourself.

As the session unfolds, massage is offered through the hips, pelvis, lower back, spine, shoulders, neck, and head, helping the body unwind tension layer by layer. A light facial massage further calms the system before your head is wrapped and a weighted eye pillow is placed to encourage deeper settling.

Abdominal and womb-space massage can be included if supportive for you - particularly beneficial for those navigating menstrual health challenges or fertility concerns. If not, the session can be tailored entirely to your comfort and needs.

  • Reflexology during pregnancy is a gentle, grounding way to support your changing body, ease discomfort and prepare for birth. Many women find it helps relieve pelvic and hip pain, improve sleep, reduce anxiety and create space to connect with their baby.

Regular treatments can also support the body’s natural rhythms as birth approaches. When you’re “overdue,” sessions can include techniques that help the body find the calm, balanced state needed to begin labour naturally.

    Pregnancy Reflexology may support:

    • deeper relaxation and improved sleep

    • easing pelvic, hip and back discomfort

    • hormonal balance

    • emotional wellbeing

    • preparation for labour

It’s a soothing and supportive treatment at any stage of pregnancy.

  • “After birth, there is a Sacred Window of time; a time for complete rejuvenation of a woman’s physical, mental and spiritual health. A time for deep, extended bonding with her newborn. The first 42 days after birth set the stage for her next 42 years .”  Ysha Oakes

The early weeks after birth - are a time of enormous physical, emotional and hormonal change. While we plan carefully for labour, the postpartum period is just as important and having the right support can make all the difference.

As a certified Traditional Postpartum Care Practitioner (trained through Julia Jones’ Newborn Mothers Collective), I offer gentle, nurturing support during your first six weeks after birth. My role is to help you rest, recover and bond deeply with your baby while feeling held, informed and emotionally supported.

Meet Sarah

A woman wearing a green beanie and denim jacket sitting outdoors by a body of water, smiling and talking to someone off-camera.

Since 2009, I have been supporting clients through a variety of health challenges, bringing a gentle, compassionate approach to every session.

You don’t need to be unwell or have a specific “health issue” to benefit from my treatments. My work is holistic, addressing the body, mind and emotions as a whole. Even the relaxation alone can have a profound impact - helping you feel restored, balanced and nourished.

“The body is like a piano, and happiness is like music. It is needful to have the instrument in good order.” – Henry Ward Beecher

I believe the best approach to health is preventative: doing the things that make us feel good regularly. When we care for ourselves consistently, we stay in tune - physically, mentally, and emotionally - then we can show up as the best version of ourselves.

I offer treatments at The Lions’ Den City, a welcoming space dedicated to connection, community and wellbeing. The peaceful treatment room provides a nurturing environment where you can fully relax and feel at ease. After your session, you may also enjoy a sauna, some movement practice in the studio and/or time in the cafe, allowing your body and mind to continue processing and integrating the benefits of your treatment.
